‘I PROTECT YOU, YOU PROTECT ME’

While cloth face masks and our Active Snood will not prevent you from contracting coronavirus, they do assist in preventing transmission from person to person by reducing the transmission of droplets when you sneeze or cough, reducing the amount of droplets you inhale, reducing exposure in overcrowded areas, and reminding you not to touch your face. In addition, by using a cloth mask, we can reduce the demand for medical grade N95 respiratory masks and surgical masks, which are needed by essential health workers.

PROTECTIVE FACE MASK & ACTIVE SNOOD ETIQUETTE

• Cover your mouth and your nose with the fabric face mask or Active Snood
• Avoid touching the mask or Active Snood while wearing it
• When removing a face mask, do so by only touching the ties (do not touch the front of the mask)
• When removing an Active Snood, pull it over your head from the back whilst ensuring that the exterior of the snood does not touch your face
• Wash before first use and after every single wear with soap and water at 40 degrees
• Once completely dry, iron the mask or Active Snood (the best means of disinfection)
• It is recommended to have 3 masks or Active Snoods — one to wear, one in the wash, and one in case of emergency / both others need to be washed
• Store your masks or Active Snoods in a clean tupperware in between wears and make sure to regularly disinfect the tupperware too
