What a year! Amidst everything being upside down, we have still been able to donate school socks and face masks to those in need – all thanks to your incredible support. Here are a few highlights of the year so far.

Warming the feet of those in need

It is our mission to change the fact that so many South African children don’t have something as basic as a pair of socks to wear to school. For every pair of Sexy Socks we sell, we donate a pair of school socks to a child in need. In the past few months alone, we’ve been able to give away almost 15,000 pairs of socks in partnership with wonderful organisations like The Santa Shoebox Project, Chrysalis Academy, Just Grace and Round Table. 

Helping protect those most vulnerable

In a time that has been filled with such immense uncertainty and rapid change, we are proud to have been able to design and create a range of Fabric Face Masks and an Active Snood that have helped our customers stay comfortably protected when venturing out and about. The best bit is that a portion of proceeds from all sales goes towards providing face masks to those most vulnerable. Again, with your amazing support, we have been able to donate face masks to more than 2000 people in partnership with the likes of Juma Art Tours, Cape Talk and The Kolisi Foundation.

Celebrating Mandela Day with The Kolisi Foundation

The Kolisi Foundation was founded by Siya and Rachel Kolisi with a vision to change the narrative of inequality for people in disadvantaged communities in South Africa.

We are proud to have partnered with The Kolisi Foundation on Mandela Day, donating fabric face masks that were added to the 650 food parcels collated to support beneficiaries in and around Hermanus. We’re looking forward to working together again soon in an effort to continue to make a meaningful impact.
